About GSNA Solutions

We were founded in April 2024 to do two things well: make AI something an organisation can actually govern and use, and keep the infrastructure underneath it defensible and in a jurisdiction you chose on purpose.

    Why the company exists

Two pressures arrived in European businesses at the same time, and most suppliers answer one of them. AI became something every board is asked about, usually before anyone has established whether the organisation can absorb it. And the ground under enterprise technology shifted — NIS2 and its national implementations, DORA, the EU AI Act, and a widening set of clients and regulators who want to know where data sits and under whose law.

Treating those as separate problems is how organisations end up with an AI programme their security function cannot approve and a security posture their AI programme keeps breaking. They are the same problem seen from two chairs, and answering both is the reason this firm exists.

We were founded in April 2024, with a practice in Amsterdam and a second entity in Casablanca. That structure was deliberate rather than opportunistic: European clients increasingly need to say where their workloads run and under which law, and organisations across North and Sub-Saharan Africa need advisers who understand both the European frameworks their partners impose and the national regimes they operate under.

What we mean by AI by design

Most AI work in this market is either a pilot with no governance or a governance exercise with no working system. We do both, in the same engagement, because the second without the first produces a binder and the first without the second produces something nobody will let you scale.

In practice that means the governance rail — inventory, risk and impact assessment, oversight that is operable rather than nominal, and the evidence to show it — is designed at the start of a build rather than added after it. Retrofitting governance onto three live systems is the same work done under pressure, with an audience.

It also means being specific about value. AI that creates value nobody captures is a cost. We score use cases on the whole chain — create, deliver, capture — and we say when the last link is missing, because an efficiency gain that frees four hours a week is worth nothing unless those hours go somewhere that matters.

    What we mean by sovereignty

Sovereignty is not a slogan here and it is not a synonym for hosting something in Europe. It is a set of answerable questions: where may this workload run, which providers are acceptable for which classes of data, what happens if a provider changes its terms, and can you state all of that to a client, a regulator or an insurer without preparing for a fortnight.

Those answers are cheap to establish at design time and expensive to retrofit, which is why they belong in the first architecture session. For clients selling into Europe, being able to state them turns a due diligence conversation from a risk into a differentiator.

    How we work

    • The person who scopes it delivers it. No handover from the senior who sold the work to a team you have not met.
    • We say what we cannot do. We have ended engagements at the discovery stage with a recommendation to buy a product rather than build one, and we have told clients that the honest finding is to fix a data problem before attempting any AI. Both cost us revenue and both are why those clients are still clients.
    • We invent nothing. Where a number would need to be made up, we say the number does not exist. That applies to our own marketing as much as to a client's board pack.
    • Documentation is a deliverable, not a by-product. Engagements end with your team able to run what we built, because a dependency on us is a weakness in your operation, not an asset in ours.

    Where we work

Two entities. GSNA Solutions B.V. in Amsterdam serves the Benelux and the wider European market. GSNA Solutions Africa in Casablanca serves North Africa, West and East Africa, and carries a substantial share of delivery for European engagements. We work in English, French and Dutch, and we engage associates for specialist work rather than carrying a bench — including seasoned consultants in Portugal, which is an associate arrangement rather than an office, and we say so rather than putting a third city on a slide.

    The three lines

AI Transformation & Governance — from whether you are ready, through what it is worth, to systems in production with the governance to keep them defensible. Cloud & Cybersecurity — assessment, architecture, implementation and Sovereign Secured Operations, including the SOC. Training & Certification — accredited PECB certification in ISO/IEC 27001, 42001, 38500 and 20000, plus role-differentiated literacy and awareness programmes. Each line follows the same ladder: evaluate, plan, enable, build, operate. Clients enter at whichever rung matches where they actually are, which is rarely the one they first ask for.
