AI literacy for executives
One day with your executive committee. Half of it is spent using AI on your own material, a board paper, a decision note, an analysis you actually owe someone, and half deciding what the company is going to do about it. No lecture, and no slide deck to take away. Up to twelve participants.

Who it is for
Executive committee, managing director and board.
Prerequisites
None. Bring real work.
What you will be able to do
- 01Explain generative AI and large models well enough to challenge a vendor.
- 02Use AI directly on your own executive work rather than watching a demonstration.
- 03Separate the AI opportunities with real return from the ones with press releases.
- 04Understand your own role in governance under ISO/IEC 42001, sponsor, decision-maker, accountable party.
- 05Leave with three actions that start the next day.
What is covered

Use cases and return, 45 minutes

Roadmap, 25 minutes
Three decisions and three actions, with a written personal commitment from each participant.
What you leave with
A roadmap agreed in the room, three decisions, and a written commitment from each participant.

Other courses on this track
2 days
ISO/IEC 42001 Foundation
Two days on what ISO/IEC 42001 is and what an AI management system actually governs. The shortest route to a shared vocabulary across a group of people who currently mean different things when they say AI governance.
5 days
ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer
Five days on building and running an AI management system to ISO/IEC 42001, the first certifiable international standard for AI governance. Taught by a Senior Lead Implementer who is doing this work in live engagements, not reading the standard aloud.
5 days
ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor
Five days on auditing an AI management system, following ISO 19011 audit principles and ISO/IEC 17021-1. Auditing AI raises an evidence problem that does not arise in an ISMS audit, because a model's behaviour is not a document, and that problem is most of what this course is about.

Leave with your top three risks documented
